Popular Nigerian rapper Omoniyi Temidayo Raphael (Zlatan Ibile) has revealed that his parents initially rejected a house he bought for them because they were suspicious about how he made his money. That’s not possible. Are you doing something else apart from music?’” The rapper explained that their reaction hurt him because he was trying to take care of them, yet they doubted him. He said his parents even asked for seven days to pray and decide whether they should accept the house. To convince them, Zlatan said he printed out his bank statement and showed them proof of the money he had earned from music before they finally agreed to move in. The rapper added that the experience taught him an important lesson. He advised parents to always ask questions and confirm the source of their children’s wealth before accepting expensive gifts from them.
