The Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA) were held in Lagos, Nigeria, on Saturday night at an event that attracted and celebrated talents in the Nollywood movie industry and super-talented stars from across the continent. “Seven Doors,” a historical drama series by Femi Adebayo, triumphed at the 11th AMVCA, winning three major awards, solidifying its standout status in Nollywood. At the 11th edition of the AMVCA, Lateef Adedimeji’s Lisabi (The Uprising) won some prizes.
