Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) have apprehended three individuals suspected of engaging in vote-buying in Egor Local Government Area during the ongoing Edo State Governorship election. Channels Television reported that the anti-graft agency arrested the suspects, which were two men and one woman, and took them into custody around 10:00 am. The report also noted that some residents protested the arrests, alleging that the individuals were being unfairly targeted and victimized.
