Confederation of African Football (CAF) has reaffirmed that the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations will take place as scheduled in Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda, dismissing speculation about a possible postponement.

CAF President Patrice Motsepe stated that preparations are progressing and that the tournament will be successfully delivered across the three host nations.

‎He emphasized CAF’s commitment to working closely with the countries to ensure stadiums, transport systems, and other key facilities meet required standards.

‎Although exact match dates have not yet been announced, the tournament is expected to be staged in June and July 2027.

‎The 2027 edition will mark the first time the Africa Cup of Nations is co-hosted by three countries.
