FULL LIST: Sinners makes history, dominates Oscars with 16 nominations

Hollywood has officially unveiled the nominations for the 97th Academy Awards (Oscars), celebrating the most acclaimed films and performances of the past year, with one title rewriting the record books.

Leading the nominations is Sinners, which earned a historic 16 nods, the highest in Oscar history. The film surpasses the long-standing record jointly held by All About Eve (1950), Titanic (1997), and La La Land (2016), each of which received 14 nominations.

The milestone firmly establishes Sinners as the most dominant film of this year’s awards season.

Trailing behind is One Battle After Another with 13 nominations, while Marty Supreme, Frankenstein, and Sentimental Value each secured nine nods. Hamnet also posted an impressive showing with eight nominations.

The 97th Academy Awards ceremony will take place on March 15, with American comedian and talk show host Conan O’Brien set to host the star-studded event.
