The person so elected will replace Prof. Funso Omobitan, whose tenure has expired.The two contestants for the position are Prof. Oseni Taiwo Afisi of the Department of Philosophy, Faculty of Arts; and Prof. Maruf Suraqat Animashaun of the Department of Foreign Languages, Faculty of Arts.Two were cleared by the Senate of the university to contest the position following the submission of their names by the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Ibiyemi Olatunji-Bello.New Daily Prime will keep you updated on the development.
