Tinubu unveils renovated International Conference Centre in Abuja

President Bola Tinubu reiterates his directive to withdraw police from VIP protection and redeploy officers to core policing duties during a Federal Executive Council briefing.

President Bola Tinubu officially commissioned the newly renovated International Conference Centre in Abuja on Tuesday, following his return from Lagos, where he participated in the Eid al-Kabir festivities

The renovation, which cost an impressive N39 billion, marks a significant investment in the capital’s infrastructure.

The commissioning ceremony took place as the President prepares for the upcoming Democracy Day anniversary, scheduled for June 12, 2025. 

The event was filled with excitement, highlighted by the joyful presence of the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, who was seen dancing in celebration of the occasion.

This renovation is expected to enhance the capacity of the International Conference Centre, making it a pivotal venue for national and international events.
