The Forum of State Chairmen for the African Democratic Congress (ADC) has declared its unwavering support for the party’s national leadership, headed by former Senate President, David Mark.
The forum’s chairman, Kingsley Ogga, who also chairs the Kogi State chapter, issued a caution against two other state chairmen, accusing them of engaging in “anti-party activities.”
Ogga warned the public to disregard the actions of the Benue and Nasarawa state chairmen, claiming they are misrepresenting the forum’s position.

He alleged that these officials were “recruited for negative media propaganda” against the current national leadership.
Ogga also addressed the status of the party’s sole elected member, Leke Abejide, confirming that his indefinite suspension from the party remains in effect.
The forum’s chairman stated that Abejide, who represents a federal constituency, has no authority to act on behalf of the ADC.
He further accused Abejide of attempting to “hand the party over to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC)” in preparation for the 2027 general election.
Ogga explained that Abejide’s suspension was a result of a series of “anti-party activities” and attempts to convene meetings without proper authorisation from the party’s organs.

The clarification comes amid reports of internal divisions within the ADC.
Ogga reaffirmed the loyalty of 34 state chairmen and the FCT to Mark’s leadership.
