The immediate past governor of Ekiti State, Kayode Fayemi, has dismissed rumours of his defection from the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC). In a statement on his X page Monday night, Fayemi reaffirmed his commitment to the party, stating that he has always been a foundational, card-carrying member of the APC and that his position remains unchanged.
