The Canadian government has expelled six Indian diplomats, including the high commissioner, following evidence of violent criminal activities linked to the Indian government. According to Associated Press reports, this development was confirmed by a senior Canadian government official. The official, who did not want to be identified, disclosed this on Monday, stating that he was not authorized to speak publicly on the matter. However, India had announced the withdrawal of its diplomats after rejecting Canada’s claim that the Indian ambassador was a “person of interest” in an assassination case. Canadian Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau had previously mentioned credible allegations linking the Indian government to the killing of Sikh activist, Hardeep Singh Nijjar. Responding to the development, India dismissed the accusations, calling them ‘absurd.’ Post navigation Hezbollah kills four Israeli soldiers, injures 61 in drone attack Press Freedom Concerns Emerge After Ban on Biya Health Coverage
