Timeline of activities for Trump’s inauguration

Donald Trump’s inauguration day is set to be a historic and memorable event, with a packed schedule of activities and ceremonies.

Here’s a breakdown of what’s in store:

• Morning Service and Tea: The day will begin with a service at St. John’s Church in Lafayette Square, a historic church in Washington, D.C., followed by tea at the White House.
• Musical Performances and Opening Remarks: At 4:30 pm Nigerian time, musical performances and opening remarks will commence on the main event stage, located on the West Lawn of the US Capitol building.
• Swearing-in Ceremony and Inaugural Address: This will be followed by the swearing-in of Trump and Vance, as well as the inaugural address, which is scheduled to start at 5 pm.
