.President Donald Trump today discussed the possibility of a new nuclear deal between the United States and Iran, telling reporters that “there’ll be some interesting days ahead, that’s all I can tell you.” “We’re down to final strokes with Iran,” Trump said at the White House. “We can’t let them have a nuclear weapon.” “We have a situation with Iran that something’s going to happen very soon, very, very soon, you’ll be talking about that pretty soon, I guess, and hopefully we can have a peace deal,” he added. Trump said in Fox Business News interview that he sent a letter to Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei in which he urged for negotiating a nuclear agreement and threatened military action otherwise. “I’m not speaking out of strength or weakness, I’m just saying I’d rather see a peace deal than the other, but the other will solve the problem,” Trump said at the White House.
